Privacy policy

We set no cookies. We do not use localStorage, sessionStorage or browser fingerprinting to identify you or your device. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Two things, both transient and neither identifying:

• Rate limiting. To keep the public API available, requests are counted per network address. That address is converted to a short non-reversible hash, held in memory only for the length of the rate-limit window, and never written to disk, logs or a database.
• Aggregate statistics. We count how often search terms appear across all visitors combined, so we can publish trending data. Counts are stored without any identifier, timestamp of individual use, or link to the person who searched.

Where product analytics are enabled, they run in cookieless mode: IP addresses are discarded, no persistent identifier is created, session recording is disabled, and Do Not Track is respected. Analytics tell us how many people viewed a page, and nothing about who they were.

Job listings are aggregated from LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, AngelList and RemoteOK. We send no information about you to those services when we fetch listings.

When you click Apply, you leave Workjumbo and arrive at the original job board or employer site. From that point their privacy policy applies, not ours. We do not pass any data with you, and outbound links are sent without a referrer.

Workjumbo is compliant with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act by design: neither applies to data that is never collected.

Data subject rights — access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection — cannot be exercised against us because we hold no personal data to which they could attach. If you believe otherwise, contact us and we will investigate.

All traffic is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3. Credentials for the external job source APIs are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. The public API is read-only and rate limited.

Workjumbo is intended for adults seeking employment. Since we collect no data at all, we collect no data from children.

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it. Any change that would introduce data collection would be published here before it took effect.
