Together, we're improving health and improving lives. Labcorp is seeking a remote Cytogenetics (FISH) Analyst to join our team that's based in Brentwood, TN. Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Responsibilities: Perform FISH analysis, which includes analysis and imaging of digitized images Cytogenetic analysis of metaphase spreads via computerized images Review of cytogenetic cases via computerized images and documents Review test requisitions to gather pertinent details for analysis Summarize test results utilizing ISCN nomenclature Distinguish between normal and abnormal test results Monitor, operate and troubleshoot equipment, software and applications to ensure proper functionality. Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving. Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care. Reports any and all problems to the general supervisor in a timely manner Collaborates with general supervisor on protocol/policy development and review Provides feedback to senior technologists on technical matters Understands and complies with company policies and procedures M
